High Protein Avocado Toast

 
 

Ingredients

  • 1 slice sourdough

  • ½ ripe avocado

  • ¼ cup egg whites

  • ¼ cup cottage cheese

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • ¼ tsp garlic powder

  • ¼ tsp red chili flakes

  • 1 tsp avocado oil or ghee butter

  • optional: pickled onions, microgreens, sprouts, hot honey


Instructions

Toast sourdough, heat avocado oil or ghee butter in a pan over medium heat, cook and scramble egg whites, mash together avocado, cottage cheese, and cooked egg whites until creamy, season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and red chili flakes, spread mixture over toast, optional: top with pickled onions, microgreens, sprouts, and a drizzle of hot honey
